What you will learn.
Enhance your dental cases with facial injectables for functional and esthetic results. This 16 CE course pairs self-paced online lectures with live patient clinical training, so you learn the theory on your schedule and practice the techniques hands-on.
The training covers both the clinical skills required for treatment and the business strategies needed to implement Botox and dermal fillers in your practice. Breakfast, lunch, and up to 50 Botox units for the clinical session are included, and a model patient is provided if you need one.

Mandatory lecture review and competency exam
Please complete all lecture reviews and the competency exam by Saturday, August 15. Due to ADA and AGD accreditation requirements, CE and completion certificates cannot be issued until both of the following are done:

Saturday, August 15: live patient hands-on clinical training

You will have opportunities to ask the instructors questions throughout the day, but we strongly recommend arriving by 7:45 AM for instructions and to ask any questions.

If you need to arrive late or leave the clinical early, let us know your timing (or early flight time) so we can accommodate you and arrange your patient time accordingly.

Model patients
Each attending practitioner will have the opportunity to treat one model patient for both Botox and dermal fillers, staggered at different times throughout the day. Patients should be prepared to be at the clinic for about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- For learning purposes, it is best if both treatments are performed on the same patient.
- You may either bring a patient, or DentaSpa will provide one patient for both treatments. Separate patients for individual procedures cannot be guaranteed.
- The entire process, from patient consultation and treatment planning to injecting and charting, is proctored 1:1 from start to finish by one of the medical and dental instructors.
- When it is not your turn to inject, you are encouraged to move through the clinical stations to observe different treatment plans, learn various injection techniques, and gain insights and pearl points from other instructors.
If you have already submitted your patient's name or requested a model patient, please notify us of any changes.
