Visits & Scheduling

How do I book an appointment?

The fastest way is to call our office at (631) 360-0266. You can also request an appointment online, or send us a message through the contact page and our team will follow up to find a time that works for you. New patients, families, and referrals are always welcome.

What are your office hours?

Our office is open 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Surgical cases begin earlier, with surgery hours starting at 7am, so early appointments are often available for procedures.

Where is Destination Dental located?

We are at 400 Townline Rd #135 in Hauppauge, NY 11788, in the heart of Suffolk County on Long Island. Our campus brings six specialized entities together under one roof, so nearly everything your smile needs happens in one place.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is calm and unhurried. We greet you, show you around, and go over your health history together. A gentle exam follows, often with quick digital imaging that we review with you on screen in plain language. Then we agree on a plan together, with no pressure and no surprises.

Can I complete my forms before I arrive?

Yes, and we recommend it. New patient registration and medical history forms are available online or as downloadable PDFs on our Patient Resources page, so you can save time at check-in.

Insurance & Financing

Do you accept my insurance?

We participate with a wide range of insurance plans. You can view the current list of participating insurances on our Patient Resources page, or call us at (631) 360-0266 and our team will be happy to verify your coverage.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?

Yes. We partner with CareCredit, which lets you check whether you prequalify, apply, and manage payments for your care. Our team can also walk you through your options during your consultation.

Sedation, Surgery & Comfort

Do you offer sedation dentistry?

Yes. Options range from light relaxation to full general anesthesia, and the right choice depends on you, your procedure, and your comfort level. All sedation is administered by board-certified MD anesthesiologists, with dedicated recovery nurses monitoring you from start to finish.

Can dental work be done under general anesthesia?

Yes. Our Maxillofacial Ambulatory Surgery entity is equipped for same-day procedures under general anesthesia for both children and adults, in a hospital-grade setting with dedicated recovery suites on site.

What surgical procedures do you perform?

Our surgical team performs dental implant surgery, bone grafting and sinus lifts, wisdom tooth and other extractions, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, and full-arch restoration, all under one roof.

Do wisdom teeth always need to come out?

No. Not every wisdom tooth needs to be removed. We evaluate each case individually with digital imaging, and when removal is the right call, timing and the right surgical setting make all the difference.

Children & Special Needs

Do you treat children?

Yes. From a child's first visit through the teenage years, our pediatric care is gentle and comfort-first, and we work hard to make the dentist a place kids feel safe.

Do you care for patients with special needs?

Absolutely. We believe every patient deserves dental care that adapts to them, not the other way around. That includes patient, dignified visits and, when needed, complete treatment under general anesthesia.

Our Practice & Technology

Who leads Destination Dental?

Dr. Lynn Pierri, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with more than 40 years of experience. She was Suffolk County's first female oral surgeon and holds a New York State record with over 5,500 hours of continuing education.

What makes your in-house lab different?

Most practices ship lab work out and wait weeks. Our in-house digital lab designs and delivers restorations on site, which means same-day crowns in many cases, fewer visits, faster results, and no communication gaps with an outside laboratory.

I am a referring provider. How do I send a patient?

We welcome referrals. You can download our referral treatment card on the Patient Resources page, and if you are interested in joining our provider network, the provider application is there as well.
